Was DisneyQuest sacrificed for nothing?A rumor is being reported that the NBA Experience at Disney Springs will not reopen. The source is insider Scott Gustin on Twitter. While I do believe that the information is correct, I’m still calling it a rumor. (This is the same account that reported that there would be no Virtual Queue for Rise of the Resistance when the parks reopened, so his inside information isn’t always correct.) The NBA Experience still has a page on the Walt Disney World website, but it’s no longer listed as “temporarily unavailable”. Instead it now says “unavailable” at the top and later “no times available”. There’s no word on what will become of the building.
