While Walt Disney World has been open for months with added safety measures, the same isn’t true in California. Disneyland will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Downtown Disney reopened with restrictions back in July. Those restrictions are now tighter. Because of rising COVID-19 numbers in Orange County and the state of California, only restaurants that offer takeout or delivery can stay open. There is no outdoor dining. Some stores remain open, but capacity has been limited to 20 percent. The Disney Vacation Club reopening of Disney’s Grand Californian Resort has also been pushed back, with no new date given.
