Walt Disney Presents has become a must visit destination this holiday season. I always think that it’s must visit, but right now things are better than ever! Walt Disney Presents is where you can meet Santa during the day and Santa Duffy during Disney Jollywood Nights. You’ll also find the Tropical Americas model and information on Monstropolis and Piston Peak. This holiday season, there are two more reasons why you’ll want to stop by Walt Disney Presents!

The first bit of extra magic is perfect for holiday film enthusiasts. There is a new section dedicated to some holiday classics! Right outside of the meet and greet area there is a showcase that features The Santa Clause franchise. You’ll see costumes and props from movies 1, 2, and 3. The display isn’t huge, but it’s packed full.

Go around the corner to the theater and you’ll see the next display. It features collectables from Babes in Toyland! It’s fun to think about how far such items have come since the film was released in 1961.

The third collection is from Noelle. For those who aren’t overly familiar with the film, it was released on Disney+ in 2019. The small display features costumes and props.

The fourth collection is my personal favorite. It features The Muppet Christmas Carol. There are costumes and pictures. I wish that this display was larger, but it’s still fun to check out.

Inside the Walt Disney Presents theater, the film on the life of Walt Disney is currently taking a pause. Instead, three Disney classic holiday shorts are playing. They are On Ice, Pluto’s Christmas Tree, and The Art of Skiing. Even if you’ve seen them before, it’s worth watching all three of them again. The films run continuously, come and go as you please. All three together run about 22 minutes. One reminder about exiting the theater, the doors to the outside are currently closed off. You’ll need to exit through the same doors that you entered through.

If all this isn’t enough, there’s also a new picture spot across from the Tropical Americas display, where the Disney Cruise Line information used to be. There’s a bench with a background, perfect for a holiday picture. There was no PhotoPass photographer there when I stopped by, but don’t be shy about asking another guest to take a picture for you.

Walt Disney Presents is fascinating to me, because it gives us a glimpse into the mind of the man who started it all. I always find something new there! And now, there’s extra holiday magic. Stop by when you need a break from the crowds, and go at your own pace. You won’t be disappointed.
