The guests at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds love to do it up for holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Walt Disney World will usually lockdown Fort Wilderness a few days before both days. That means that you won’t be allowed on the property without some sort of reservation. You won’t be able to take Disney transportation to the Fort. Security will check reservations, and without one, you’ll be turned away. Dates are announced quietly right before the lockdown.
