Walt Disney World and Disneyland are not the same! I thought I’d share some tips for new Disneyland guests who already know Walt Disney World.
Don’t assume that a ride with the same name is the same ride. Most are very different. Space Mountain, to me, is the ultimate example. Both are in the dark roller coasters where you blast off into space. In the Disneyland version, it’s two people in each row. The ride feels different as well. Disneyland’s Space Mountain is less jerky, and honestly, I prefer it.
You also don’t want to skip Pirates of the Caribbean (with two waterfalls), The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad…the list goes on and on. Plan to ride just about everything.
