Inlet Shores Tiki Tours!Last year we booked Inlet Shores Tiki Tours for my daughter’s birthday. I had heard good things about them, and when I learned that you can bring your dog I knew that it would be the perfect adventure! We had such a good time that when it was time to make plans for this year’s birthday, my daughter didn’t think twice about what she wanted to do. We made the reservation.
Sit back and relax!Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans in 2024. The morning of her birthday Captain Mike texted me to inform me that the weather looked iffy. Since we had several hours he gave me the choice to wait a while and see if it would clear, move up our tour a couple of hours, rebook, or cancel and receive a refund. After looking at the forecast we decided that rescheduling was probably the best option. It was the right call, the weather was bad all day. (All was not lost for her birthday, we headed to Edge Escape Room and had a blast!)
Captain YodaWe rescheduled our Tiki Tour to July 3. (It was our dog Yoda’s third Gotcha Day. And people say that he’s spoiled…) It’s been hot here in Florida, but there was a nice breeze out on the water and it was a perfect day!
The sand barWe did things a little bit differently this time. Instead of staying on the water the whole tour, we went to a sandbar. We had our own private beach! Most of the time, though, we cruised around on the tiki boat. The scenery was beautiful, and the journey relaxing. We also saw plenty of dolphins, it was a nice surprise to see so many!
One of many dolphinsInlet Shores Tiki Tours is BYOB, so if you’d like to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine just bring it along. Bottled water is provided. There are several different options that you can choose from when booking. For us, we enjoyed just being out on the water. Yoda loved it as well.

Even though you’re only 90 minutes or so outside of Walt Disney World, you’ll feel like you’re a world away. Each tour can accommodate up to six people. There are many different options, visit their website to learn all the possibilities. They also have great customer service!
Ponce Inlet LighthouseI said it last time, and I’ll say it again now. I can’t recommend Inlet Shores Tiki Tours highly enough. We’re already talking about going again. In this day and age of large corporations, it’s nice to support a small business.
