It will take place January 20-22 at Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South, 4955 Kyngs Heath Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746. This is unlike most conventions that you may have been to in the past. It is put on by fans, for fans.
There have been a couple of changes since my last piece on House of Mouse Expo. Unfortunately, both Irene Bedard and Kevin McNally had to cancel due to filming conflicts. That’s the bad news. There is plenty of good.
One thing that is really exciting is that there are now ten actors from the Hocus Pocus franchise! This now includes Taylor Henderson, who played young Winnie in Hocus Pocus 2. This will be her first appearance at any convention.
Another reason to be excited is that the schedule for the weekend is now live. On Saturday there will be a Pixar Panel, a Bambi reunion, the Hocus Pocus panel, and more! Sunday’s panels will include the Pirates of the Caribbean reunion, and a panel with Bret Iwan, who is the voice of Mickey Mouse.
The vendor list is also complete! There will be a wide variety of items for sale. You might find the perfect gift for that special someone; or for yourself.
There are also photo opportunities, a costume contest, and plenty more excitement. Tickets are surprisingly affordable (these aren’t Disney prices!) and you can attend one, two, or all three days. House of Mouse Expo is going to be so much fun, I hope to see you there!
