Turning on the lights requires an extra step!When you enter your stateroom on the Disney Dream or Disney Fantasy, it may seem like the lights don’t work. There is a card slot next to the door that needs to have a card in it for the lights to stay on. You can use your Key to the World Card, but any card that size will do. We used a Disney Gift Card on our recent cruise. That was a lot easier than taking a KTTW Card out of a lanyard each time we entered the room! We kept the gift card on the closet shelf for easy access, but others brought a strong magnet and kept it on their doors.
The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder do not have this feature. I expect that the Disney Wish will, but that’s speculation.
