I’ve also mentioned that there are some perks that come with your Annual Pass. A few new limited time perks have been announced, so I thought that I’d share those with you now.
One of the fun perks that can come with an Annual Pass is the Passholder magnets. The generic magnet should be mailed to you. (If it isn’t a few weeks after you activated your pass, email or call Disney.) From time to time Disney will also offer a special limited edition Passholder magnet. It has been announced that there will be three different choices in the near future. The first is a Simba magnet. It will be available August 29 through September 5 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The other two magnets will celebrate the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. A Minnie magnet will be available at Epcot August 29 through October 14, and a Remy magnet will be available October 15 through November 23.
There is another freebie that will be available at Epcot for Annual Passholders. You will be able to pick up a set of wooden Minnie coasters. In order to be eligible to receive them, you’ll need to visit the Food & Wine Festival four times. You don’t need to have anything stamped or pick up a card, all that you need to do is to scan your MagicBand when you enter the park.
Annual Passholders who are attending the Food & Wine Festival can also purchase Passholder merchandise, and with your pass you’ll receive a 20 percent discount. There is also a deal for a $100 Disney Gift Card. If you purchase the Passholder Gift Card, you will receive a $10 Table Service digital dining bonus. You can use that on top of the Passholder discount, which could mean a significant savings. The dining bonus can be used at select Epcot restaurants.
A Passholder only meet and greet with Winnie the Pooh has been announced for Epcot. There are also some Passholder hidden menu items for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Those are available August 29 through September 2 at Dawa Bar, Thirsty River, Restaurantosaurus Lounge, and Nomad Lounge. The hidden menu will be available from 3:00 until 6:00.
