Disney After Hours is awesome! And it includes complimentary ice cream bars…

More dates have been added for Disney After Hours! This is exciting news, this is one special ticketed event that I think is worth the price. With Disney After Hours, you receive three hours of theme park time with an extremely limited number of guests. I was hosted for both the Disney’s Animal Kingdom version and the Disney’s Hollywood Studios version, and I highly recommend either one. I want to attend the Magic Kingdom version, hopefully that will happen soon.

The only park that does not offer Disney After Hours is Epcot. Here are the additional dates. Magic Kingdom: May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Disney’s Animal Kingdom: May 7, 14, and 21; and June 4, 11, and 18. Disney’s Hollywood Studios: May 1, 4, 10, 17, 24, and 31; and June 14, 21, and 28.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney After Hours is going to be extra special on two days. On May 1, there will be extra foods and merchandise to celebrate the park’s 30th Anniversary. There will also be extra character greetings that evening. On May 4th, Star Wars Day will be celebrated at the event. (In case you don’t know why that’s Star Wars Day, May the Fourth be with you.) There will be extra characters, and guests are encouraged to dress up, as long as their costumes fit Walt Disney World guidelines.

Disney After Hours is a blast. If you hate lines, this is a way to experience the parks without having to worry about the crowds. Three hours may not sound like a lot, but I was amazed by how much we did when we went. The cost is $125 in advance, and $129 the day of…if there are any tickets left. That might sound like a lot, but it’s really a good value. There are discounts for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
