With Christmas Week here, I thought it would be fun to talk a little but about what I think needs to be experienced for the holidays. I thought I’d start at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is my favorite park.
My must-do for Disney’s Hollywood Studios won’t take a lot of time, but you will need to wait until the lights go down. I’m talking about Sunset Seasons Greetings. I love projections shows, and for some reason having those projections on the Hollywood Tower Hotel just adds to the fun.
I think that this year Disney has really stepped it up with Sunset Seasons Greetings. The addition of lasers makes the entire street part of the show. It’s fun to watch, and it makes for some awesome pictures. When the lasers catch the snoap, well, it’s a really cool effect.
I will always miss the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, that is my all time favorite Walt Disney World Christmas decoration. That said, I’m glad that Walt Disney World has come up with something that is fun and different. Last year was good, this year is better.
If you stop by Sunset Seasons Greetings, make sure that you watch the entire thing. It only lasts a few minutes. If you’re interested in the dialog, you’ll want to be near Tower of Terror. Personally, I’d rather stay back and watch along the whole street. It’s an incredible view.
