In 2017, Epcot added a fourth festival to its lineup. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts has grown each year, and this year it is fantastic! The first year it ran only on weekends, but now it takes place daily.
At the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, you can celebrate the culinary, visual, and performing arts. There is plenty of artwork on hand. Some of it you can be part of, such as putting yourself into a work of art or participating in a giant paint by numbers. The chalk art is back, this was one of my favorites last year.
Culinary arts are celebrated in the form of Food Studios. These are located around World Showcase. You can find many delicious treats, the menus are available here.
Some of the performing arts are found on the Fountain Stage. This is where you can enjoy entertainment during the day, including the Epcot Living Statues. In the evening you can catch the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. Each night a duo of Broadway stars sings some of your Disney favorites. The shows take place three times each evening.
You can also learn at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. There are 30 minute seminars that are included in the price of theme park admission. There are workshops as well, for an extra fee.
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts runs daily through February 25. I’ve just touched on a few of the highlights. This is one special event that you need to check out for yourself.
