Courtesy Disney Pixar Disney Pixar Lightyear is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2022. The film isn’t based on the toy version of Buzz Lightyear. From what I understand, it focuses on the man that the toy was based on. It is not a Toy Story sequel. The title character is voiced by Chris Evans.
