Many Walt Disney World guests are surprised by how busy the Magic Kingdom is on Mondays. (Don’t get me wrong, it’s always busy.) Sure, they expect weekends to be crowded, but shouldn’t Monday be better? The reason why Mondays are so busy at the Magic Kingdom is simple. Many groups arrive on Sunday and don’t want to use a ticket on only part of the day. They’ll hit the pool, explore the resort, or stop by Disney Springs. They want to then hit the ground running on Monday morning. The Magic Kingdom is the heart of the magic, so that’s where they go. It sometimes feels like everyone had the same idea.
