If you’ll be at Walt Disney World on May 13, be aware that the Magic Kingdom will close at 5:30 for a private event. There will be no public fireworks that evening, and Disney Starlight will not run. That said, the daytime crowd might be lighter than normal, especially in the afternoon. Expect both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to be even busier than normal that evening. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is currently scheduled to close at 6:00 on May 13, so it’s unlikely that the Magic Kingdom’s early closure will make a difference there.
