At Destination D23 last August, we learned that Cinderella Castle is going to return to the more classic colors. We now have a better idea of the timeline.
According to several reputable sources, work on repainting Cinderella Castle will begin in January. Cranes will be used, but they’ll be lowered by noon each day, so you’ll still be able to get your Cinderella Castle pictures. The work will be completed at some point in 2026, but no end timeframe has been mentioned.
What about the shows that take place in front of or on Cinderella Castle? Starting on January 28, there will be some changes to the Let the Magic Begin welcome show. There could be very minor adjustments as well to Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire and Happily Ever After.
