Spaceship Earth is operational again after a two month refurbishment. That said, there’s one thing that I’ve noticed since it reopened. It seems to be breaking down a lot. I’m not talking about a 60 second pause while riding. I keep checking Wait Times, and I’ve seen Spaceship Earth listed as “temporarily closed” several times in the past few days. When my family and I were at Epcot on Sunday for a couple of hours, Spaceship Earth was down the whole time. (According to the My Disney Experience App, it did reopen not long after we left.) I don’t know if there was an upgrade that isn’t working properly or if it’s something else. I just wanted to share my observation.
