If you take a rideshare to a Magic Kingdom Area Resort, the rules for drop off are the same as they are for parking. You need to have a dining or hotel reservation. Too many people tried to skip the Transportation & Ticket Center and walk to the Magic Kingdom from Disney’s Contemporary Resort, so the rules were changed. There is a specific spot for rideshare drop offs at the Transportation & Ticket Center, and Disney expects you to use it. Please don’t give the Security Cast Member a hard time if you try this and are turned away. They’re doing their job.
