No one wants to think that something annoying such as car problems will happen at Walt Disney World. After all, it’s The Most Magical Place on Earth! Sadly, Pixie Dust won’t fill an empty gas tank or recharge a car battery. So what do you do if you have car problems?
I’ll start with Roadside Assistance. Walt Disney World offers several services for those who are in need. I’ve had my car jump started in the parking lot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Someone from security saw that I was having an issue and sent help right away. You can also get a couple of gallons of gas (for a cost) if you’re running low. Roadside Assistance will also help with a flat tire or pull your vehicle out of the mud. If you need help, call (407) 824-0976. Car Care One is the name of the mobile unit. They’ll take good care of you.
What if your car needs repairs? Car Care Center will take care of you! They’re open seven days a week, and offer shuttle service to the Transportation & Ticket Center. Call (407) 824-0976 for more information and to make an appointment. If your car needs to be towed to Car Care Center, Car Care One will tow it free of charge.
While Disney transportation is great, what if you prefer to have a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired? You don’t have to Uber back to the airport. You can rent from National, Enterprise, or Alamo near the Magic Kingdom! Call (407) 824-3470, or make the reservation online. Disney offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the resort hotels.
Here’s hoping that you’ll never need any of these services. But it’s nice to know that they’re there, just in case you do.
