The new-ish security scannersRecently, I reshared on Facebook a short series on the new security system at Walt Disney World. Here’s another tip, shared by a reader.
While not listed on the sign outside of the theme parks, rectangular objects could set off the scanners. This includes a tin of mints purchased at Walt Disney World! I’ve also heard of the scanner going off for battery chargers and eyeglass cases. If you aren’t sure, take it out of your bag and hold it in front of you as you walk through.
