This is the news that some people have been waiting for, while others have been dreading it. Walt Disney World is going to end the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has used a Virtual Queue since it opened in 2022. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened last year, and also has used a Virtual Queue the whole time.

Here’s the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind information, directly from the Walt Disney World website:
Beginning February 25, 2025, Guests will be able to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind via a standby queue, Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass. A virtual queue will no longer be offered at this attraction.

And here’s the information for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, also from the Walt Disney World website:
Beginning February 25, 2025, Guests will be able to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure via a standby queue, Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Premier Pass. A virtual queue will no longer be offered at this attraction.
The change means that there will no longer be any Virtual Queues currently in use for attractions at Walt Disney World. They will still most likely be used for special events.
