Disney Genie+ has left the building!Disney Genie+ has gone back into the bottle at Walt Disney World. We now have Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lighting Lane Single Pass. If you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can make up to three selections ahead of time. If you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can make your selections seven days in advance. You can make selections for your whole trip, up to 14 days! That’s a definite advantage to get people to stay on property. For everyone else, it is three days.
The new Lightning Lane System seems to be a lot like the old FastPass+, except that you have to pay for it. Costs will vary, depending on the day and the time of year. The selections are in tiers, except for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. To make everything a little clearer, I thought it might be helpful to add the tiers for each theme park. That will assist you to make a better informed decision on whether or not the new system is worth the cost. You can make three selections total, either one from the first group and two from the second, or none from the first group and three from the second. I’ve also included the Single Pass Attractions, which are not part of the Multi Pass Lightning Lane.
