I’ll be buying this soon!One of the benefits of being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is that you receive discounts on some food and merchandise. Disney is making those discounts a little bit sweeter with V.I.PASSHOLDER Discount Days! We were already promised that extra discounts would come in June, and we now know the dates. This information was shared in The Passholder Buzz section of the My Disney Experience App.
Starting on May 31, Annual Passholders will receive a 30 percent discount on merchandise! Take it from me, that extra ten percent (it’s usually 20 percent) makes a huge difference. I already have a few things in mind that I want to pick up. The 30 percent discount will run until June 30.
Also for the same dates, the dining discount will increase from ten percent to 20 percent. This one is a little bit deceptive, because many Walt Disney World restaurants do not offer an Annual Passholder discount. Most quick service locations don’t offer a discount, and not all full service restaurants have it. Alcohol is not included in the discount.
Remember, not all stores and restaurants are owned by Disney, so you may not always get a discount. If you are an Annual Passholder, always ask if there’s a discount. It’s better to be told no than to miss out on a significant savings.
When you use a discount, have your Annual Pass on your phone and your ID ready. It will make the process go faster. Disney does have Annual Passholder cards, but most places prefer to see it on your phone because it has the expiration date.

The new Figment magnet will be available at Epcot from May 31 through June 30, while supplies last. There will be no Virtual Queue, and you’ll pick it up in Creations Shop.
While you’re at Epcot on those days, take advantage of the new 20 percent discount on several of the Outdoor Kitchens! Fifteen of them will offer the discount, including some that are part of Garden Graze. Again, this is only May 31 through June 30.
Finally, during V.I.PASSHOLDER Days there will be exclusive PhotoPass offerings. You’ll find a Magic Shot with WALL-E and EVE at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and a Figment-inspired photo opportunity at Epcot.
