A reminder if you’re renewing If you’re a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you can renew your pass up to 60 days in advance. If you upgrade, you will still be on your old pass until the expiration date. Your new pass will go into effect the next day. For example, if you have a Disney Pixie Dust Pass and upgrade at your renewal to the Disney Sorcerer Pass, you won’t be able to go on weekends until your Pixie Dust Pass has expired. If you add on water parks or PhotoPass, those won’t work until the new pass goes into effect either.
