Ten Second Tip: When a Trackless Ride Goes Down

Not all problems are Goofy’s fault

If you look at Wait Times often in the My Disney Experience App, you might notice that the newer, trackless rides seem to go down fairly often. That causes people to complain that “Disney needs to fix these rides!” A lot of the time, the ride shuts down not because of a mechanical problem, but because something fell out of the vehicle. The moment something hits the floor the ride will shut down, it’s a safety feature. We can all help by making sure that all loose articles are secure, including hats and glasses. If the system needs to be reset it will take quite some time to get the ride up and running again.
