This is from 2021 Night of a Million Lights debuted as a fundraiser for Give Kids the World in 2020. The Village was decorated with millions of lights, it could put even Scrooge into a festive mood! It took place again in 2021. Give Kids the World Village is back to full operations, so it was previously announced that it will not be held this year.
In comes the twist. Night of a Million Lights will return in 2022 after all, but will have a new home. It will instead take place at Island H2O Live Water Park! That is located right outside of Margaritaville Resort, and just a few minutes from Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Island H2O Live! operates seasonally, so it seems like it will be the perfect fit.
Night of a Million Lights will run from November 11 through January 1. I cannot recommend this event highly enough, even though I obviously haven’t been to the new venue. The results are dazzling, and the money will help critically ill children and their families to have the vacation of a lifetime. It’s the ultimate win-win!
