If you’ve followed Disney Over 50 for a while, you might know how much I love Disney After Hours. It’s not a cheap event, but at least in the past it’s been a good value. I have great news; plain old Disney After Hours is returning in 2023!
It’s not that we haven’t had Disney After Hours in the past year or so. There’s been Disney Boo Bash After Hours, Disney Very Merriest After Hours, and more recently Disney H2O Glow After Hours. These have been themed and I’ve enjoyed them all! What has been announced is Disney After Hours in its purest form.
Plain old Disney After Hours is simple. A limited number of tickets are sold, so you can ride all of your favorites with little or no wait. To make the deal even “sweeter”, ice cream novelties like Mickey Bars, popcorn, and bottled soda or water are included for no extra cost. There is no parade, no fireworks, and no rare characters. Disney After Hours is all about riding your favorites over and over again.
Disney After Hours will be held at both the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At the Magic Kingdom it will run from 10:00 until 1:00, and at DHS from 9:30 until 12:30. With either event you can enter the park at 7:00 PM, no Disney Park Pass reservation is needed.

Tickets will go on sale on October 7 for most people. If you’ll be staying on property the night of the event, you can buy your tickets on October 4.
There’s no word on if Disney After Hours will return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or if Disney Villains After Hours will be back at the Magic Kingdom. They’re both still on the Walt Disney World website, so that’s a good sign.
