Cosmic Rewind Annual Passholder Previews: What You Need to Know

There was a lot of confusion before the Annual Passholder previews for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. I thought it might be a good idea to try to get rid of some of that confusion, now that many of us have registered for the preview for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Do not panic about making a Disney Park Pass Reservation for the day of your preview! If you look at the Availability Calendar, many of the dates are full for Epcot. Don’t let that concern you. My guess is that Disney took reservations for Annual Passholders out of the system so that there would be spots for everyone. If you have a reservation for the Cosmic Rewind preview, a Disney Park Pass Reservation will be added to your My Disney Experience Account a day or two before your event. For the Remy’s preview mine was added three days before.

If you have an Annual Pass that has blockout dates, you will not be allowed in Epcot if your day is blocked out. It won’t matter if you have a reservation for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind preview. If that’s the case and you still want to ride, you’ll need to buy a one day ticket.

Three to five days before your date, you will receive an additional email. That will tell you all the information that you need to know. Print that email AND save it as new! You should also print the confirmation email that you received right after you registered. You will most likely need to show it before you’re allowed in. When we went for our Remy preview, there were several people who were desperately trying to find their confirmation emails on their phones. The Cast Members were not letting anyone slide by.

On the day of your preview, arrive a few minutes before your assigned time. You’ll need to have your photo ID as well as your confirmation. Of course you’ll also need to have your ticket or MagicBand to enter Epcot. The email a few days before will tell us everything else that we need to know about arriving for the Cosmic Rewind preview.

Reservations cannot be modified. Also, I guess it’s possible that more spots could open up (that happened with the New Fantasyland previews) but it is highly unlikely.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has a 42 inch height requirement. Anyone who is not tall enough will not be allowed to ride, even if registered for a preview.

If I left anything out or you have any questions that you think I might be able to answer, feel free to email me, or send me a message through Facebook or Instagram.
