Photo courtesy WKMGI debated whether or not to add this story, but lately, some Orlando-themed sites have gone for the sensational, so I thought that maybe I could cover it with just the facts that I learn from the local news. I’m following the story on WKMG.
A fourteen year old boy died after falling from the Orlando Free Fall. It happened just after 11:00 pm on Thursday, March 24. Several people witnessed the fall and called 911. The boy died at the hospital. His name has not been released, and even if it is released later I am not going to add it. The family deserves privacy.
Orlando Free Fall is one of the attractions at ICON Park Orlando. It opened last December. It claims to be the highest free fall ride in the world.
The ride is closed indefinitely, pending investigation.
