Magic Kingdom Mickey Pumpkin!

Halloween tends to be a big deal here in the United States. Kids dress up in costumes, adults have parties, and many people try for a good scare. When it comes to celebrating Halloween at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, the scares are turned down and the cute is turned up. That doesn’t mean that there’s no Halloween in the other Disney Parks across the planet. Here’s some information from Disney Parks Blog. All photos are courtesy the site.

Tricks, Treats and Magical Mischief at Disney Parks Around the World

by Thomas Smith, Editorial Content Director, Disney Parks

All around the world, our parks are getting out their devilishly delightful décor and cooking up terrifyingly tasty treats to celebrate the eeriest season of all! Whether you’re looking to see your favorite Disney villains, try new treats or visit with some happy haunts, there are so many ways to join in the frightfully fun festivities taking place at Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort.

Tricks and treats are back at Disneyland Paris, where Disney’s Halloween Festival will cast a spell from Oct. 1 through Nov. 7. Across Disneyland Park and in the Studio Theater at Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney villains will be sneaking around to make mischief. Don’t miss your chance to snap a selfie with Captain Hook, Cruella and their villainous pals, as well as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the gang, all decked out in their Halloween best.

Our chefs are also brewing up special potions and snacks that are sure to enchant your taste buds! And as the clock ticks toward midnight on Oct. 31, Disney’s Halloween Party will be celebrating in the way that only ghosts and ghouls can – with a special nighttime event full of Halloween treats and sneaky surprises!

Over at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, iconic Disney villains and beloved friends are out and about in brand-new Halloween looks, ready for both wicked and fun good times, from now through Oct. 31. Guests are invited to join in the fun by dressing up in their own Halloween outfits, too!

The celebrations continue with Mickey’s Halloween Time Street Party, featuring the sights and sounds of autumn, giant jack-o’-lanterns and favorite seasonal tunes. And the beloved “Let’s Get Wicked,” stage show has made its return this year to mesmerize guests with hair-raising performances! Over in Fantasyland, the Halloween Time Festival Gardens will also be hosting the most magical daytime trick-or-treating, while in Adventureland, Disney villains have created the most frightful party of them all with the Wicked Fun Party Zone. Guests may even spot Loki, the god of mischief, himself!

And no season is complete without deliciously evil food and beverage offerings. Across the resort ghoulish new treats will be available for all to enjoy, from the “Maleficent soft serve” at Midtown Delights to the “Halloween Snack Platter” and “Queen’s Brew” at Tahitian Terrace and much more.

Shanghai Disney Resort is once again getting ready for Halloween with a range of new and traditional Halloween celebrations taking place from Oct. 4 through Nov. 7. With classic decorations, trick-or-treating and more, there’s all kinds of boo-tacular fun to be had!

Disney Villains will make appearances on the balcony of Enchanted Storybook Castle and as night falls, Treasure Cove will once again transform into the home of Ghost Pirates, waiting to frighten and delight guests around every corner. Special Halloween-themed cavalcades and a “This is Halloween!” Dance Party will also light up the night as guests enjoy themed food and beverage offerings, thrilling entertainment and appearances from favorite Disney characters.

Halloween festivities will also make their way to Disneytown, where a Halloween Fun Carnival will take place. Guests can check out character-inspired pumpkin décor, a Ghost Band, special parades and parties and much more! The bravest guests may even meet The Lost Souls as Disneytown transforms for the season!

To mark this hauntingly happy season, Tokyo Disney Resort will present “Mickey & Friends Greeting Parade: Disney Halloween,” now through Oct. 31. Mickey Mouse and all his pals will be dressed in their own Halloween style to welcome guests into the park, where they can find special food and beverage offerings and more!

This year, special Halloween merchandise unique to Halloween can also be found across the resort, including items featuring favorite characters from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” and new pieces inspired by Haunted Mansion’s Ghost Bride!

From Oct. 25 to Oct. 29, the resort will also be offering a special Halloween Morning Passport for guests to enjoy the festivities before Tokyo Disneyland opens for the day.

Stay tuned for more ghoulish delights as we celebrate the Halloween season!
