The Figment topiary is returning in 2021! We are in the middle of the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, and we haven’t even started the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts yet. That doesn’t mean we can’t look further ahead. Disney Parks Blog has released preliminary information on the 2021 Flower & Garden Festival, and I am excited!
Instead of the full festival, we will be able to enjoy the Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. That’s not a surprise, things are going to be scaled back for a while. The topiaries will return, and there will still be tasty treats at over 20 Outdoor Kitchens. Spike the Bee will “bee” the focus of the scavenger hunt once again, and there will be plenty of merchandise. The Garden Rocks concert series wasn’t mentioned in the announcement, so I’m sadly assuming that it is not planned at this time.
The Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will begin on March 3, and it will run all the way to July 5. That’s over four months of beauty! This is my favorite of the four festivals at Epcot, and we were cheated in 2020. It ran for just over two weeks when the parks shut down. When more information about the 2021 Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is available, I’ll let you know.
