On November 17, 1978, The Star Wars Holiday Special aired for the first (and only) time. It took the greatness of Star Wars and turned it into a cheesy mess. It’s so bad that it’s become a classic! I’ll admit it, I watched it live, plus I bought a bootleg copy on VHS. While we still can’t watch a legal copy, there is a new version on Disney+. LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special has updated the story with the new characters, as Rey and BB-8 celebrate Life Day. I haven’t watched it yet, but the other LEGO Star Wars titles are a lot of fun, and I expect this to be as well.
