Update: it appear that they have done away with the 10:30 movie. It’s now one movie each time. Also, Friday, October 30 is the final night.
During the summer SeaWorld Orlando held a series that they called Flicks & Fireworks. It had nothing to do with the theme park. Instead, the parking lot was where it was held! Fireworks took place, and then people who attended were able to enjoy a drive-in movie. A couple of weeks before that ended I received an email survey from SeaWorld Orlando. It was not about the park, they were interested in my thoughts about Halloween movies. I was not surprised when Flicks & Frights was announced.
Although there are no fireworks this time around, the basics of the experience are the same. You’ll reserve a spot, and then you and everyone else in your car can watch the flicks. The cost is $40 per car, and Annual Passholders receive a 20 percent discount. There are food trucks there if you’re hungry. Remember, masks must be worn if you are outside of your car.
There is one movie most nights. It’s family-friendly. I’ll add the schedule below. The movies run on Saturday evenings at 7:45. Halloween will be the last day.
Reservations are strongly encouraged. You can make a reservation, or find more information here.
The list of movies is as follows:
