Need full service without a reservation?Have you ever been to Walt Disney World and wanted to have a full service meal, but you didn’t have a reservation? A new addition to the My Disney Experience App will help you to find out which full service restaurants have walkups available right now.
It is easy to do. Open the My Disney Experience App. Hit the + in the circle in the middle at the bottom. Some choices will pop up, choose Check Dining Availability. It should be the top one.
Next, you will put in the size of your party. Remember to include everyone, even infants or people who will not be eating. Next, you’ll pick the date. Since you’re looking for something last minute, pick today’s date.
Immediately a Search by Time option should appear at the bottom of your screen. Pick Now (the first one on the left), and voila, you’ll see if any restaurants are accepting walkups! If a restaurant isn’t accepting walkups, you’ll see that information as well.
Remember, just because the feature is available does not mean that you will be able to find a restaurant. If all the spaces are full, you won’t get in. If there is a restaurant that is important to you, try to get the reservation ahead of time, don’t wait until the last minute. Still, it’s nice to know that this is now an option. The number of things that you can do with the My Disney Experience App continues to grow.
