Are there plans to replace Primeval Whirl? A couple of days ago I told you that Stitch’s Great Escape, Primeval Whirl, and Rivers of Light are all permanently closed. That has caused a lot of people to ask what will replace them. At this time, I don’t think that there are any plans for replacements. Disney has lost a lot of money since March, and new rides are expensive. Even with the parks open again, there is not a lot of revenue because of limited capacity and the risks of traveling. If these attractions are eventually replaced, it will be years from now.
