Rise of the Resistance already uses a Virtual Queue Once Walt Disney World reopens, there is a good chance that we will see more virtual queues. Disney Parks Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pamela Hymel recently mentioned the possibility on Disney Parks Blog. Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Virtual Lines are part of its reopening plan. There is also a Virtual Queues spot on the Disneyland App. We have yet to learn what rides and attractions will use this technology, and it is not yet confirmed for Walt Disney World. Currently the only attraction at Walt Disney World to use a Virtual Queue is Rise of the Resistance, but that very well could change when the parks reopen.
