Last summer a new special event debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night gave guests a chance to sample new foods and beverages, see the lions “up close”, meet beloved characters with little wait, and enjoy some fantastic live entertainment. The difference between Circle of Flavors and other special ticketed events is that it was held in the evening during park hours.
I had a chance to attend Circle of Flavors at the end of July, and I had a fantastic time. The virtual safari was a blast, I will always love meeting characters, and I really enjoyed the live entertainment. To top it off, the food was fantastic, and the Cast Members were incredible! The number of guests is extremely limited, and it was nice to not be in the middle of the crowd on a crowded evening.
The bad news is that the last night for Circle of Flavors was October 23. The good news is that Disney has announced that it is going to return. The first date for the second round will begin on December 4. Dates are currently available through April 15.
Circle of Flavors takes place most Wednesday evenings, starting at 6:00. It runs until the park closes. The available dates include both Christmas and New Year’s Day. The cost is $125 per adult and $99 for children. Remember that the food and beverages (including alcohol) are all you care to enjoy. There was a lot of food, so show up hungry.
