You can customize a MagicBand in some placesIf you are staying off property, you are not required to use a MagicBand, but you can purchase one if you would like. Off property guests can still use a MagicBand for park admittance and FastPass+, and it can also be scanned by PhotoPass Photographers. If you’re staying off property, you cannot link a credit or debit card to the band. If you want the convenience of a MagicBand, the solid color ones run about $15 each, designs are more. Your valid plastic ticket will also get you into a park, and you can use that for FastPass+.
