September 29! A lot of rumors and guesses have been circulating about when the Disney Skyliner will begin to transport guests. We now have an answer; September 29! I’ve been watching the Disney Skyliner go from ground clearing to the test runs, and I am really excited about this.
The Disney Skyliner is a new mode of transportation that will service Disney’s Art of Animation, Disney’s Pop Century, Disney’s Caribbean Beach, and Disney’s Riviera Resorts. It will transport guests to and from either Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The gondolas on the Disney Skyliner are brightly colored, and some have Disney characters on them. Each gondola will seat up to ten people. You will be able to see parts of alt Disney World from a whole new point of view. The gondolas do not have air conditioning, but Disney promises great cross ventilation.
