If you’re thinking about taking a cruise on Disney Cruise Line early next year, the idea just became a little more desirable. Both Marvel Day at Sea and Star Wars Day at Sea will be returning. The two popular cruises will take place on select sailings in January, February, and March of 2020.
Marvel Day at Sea is celebrated on some five night cruises on the Disney Magic, and sails out of Miami. Star Wars Day at Sea is on some seven night cruises on the Disney Fantasy. It sails out of Port Canaveral. Remember to check when you book to make sure that it will be one of these two specialty cruises.
The cruise that my family and I went on in January was Marvel Day at Sea, and that was probably my favorite day of the whole cruise. There were plenty of Marvel related activities, but you don’t have to be a Marvel fan to have a good time. Last year I attended a Disney Cruise Line media event that was all about Star Wars Day at Sea, and it made me want to go! As part of our event we were treated to the meal that is served for Star Wars Day at Sea, and it was one of the best meals that I’ve ever had.
If you are trying to decide whether or not you should take a Disney cruise, do it! I’ve only been on the one cruise, and it was incredible. I’ve spent a little more time than I care to admit on the Disney Cruise Line website since we’ve been home, dreaming and crunching numbers.
