Metal detectors are there to keep people safe, not ruin your daySometimes everyone will be required to go through the metal detectors at the theme park entrances. Often, though, only a percentage will be asked to go through. If you’re picked, it’s not because you looked suspicious or that you’re being called out. I’ve been told that the Security team will count, and if you hit a certain number you need to go through a detector. Instead of being upset that you were the one, be thankful that Disney is keeping guests safe.
