There are strolling musicians at Carnevale It is hard to believe that Lent is just around the corner. That means that people are starting to think about Mardi Gras in many places. At Maria & Enzo’s at Disney Springs, they aren’t thinking about Mardi Gras, they are thinking about Carnevale instead.
Carnevale is the Italian version of Mardi Gras, and the Maria & Enzo’s version is a lot of fun. There is a family-friendly party atmosphere. I attended last year, and had a blast! My daughter and I will be hosted again soon to cover this year’s version for Disney Dining. It was so well done last year, I know that we will have a great time.
For Carnevale at Maria & Enzo’s there is a special menu, but that isn’t all. There is extra entertainment. There are jugglers, stilt walkers, musicians, incredible costumes, and plenty of surprises. If you are going to be in town, this is one meal that I highly recommend.
The sad part of Carnevale is that you don’t have much time. This year it will run from February 1 through 29. If you can’t make it, this is still a restaurant that you want to check out at some point on your Walt Disney World vacation. The food is amazing!
