When I think of the holidays at Epcot, my first thought is the Candlelight Processional. I’ll also think about the storytellers, and maybe watching JOYFUL! or Voices of Liberty. Possibly the last thing that will come to mind is Living with the Land, but that is about to change.
As part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays this year, you can experience Living with the Land: Merry and Bright Nights. When it gets dark outside, the lights go on inside. Living with the Land has been given a holiday overlay. There are lights and some fun additions such as a snow family.
What is nice about Living with the Land: Merry and Bright Nights is that it is not overdone. You’ll see lights and some decorations, but they do not distract from the ride. You will still float through the greenhouses, and the ride is still educational. The overlay is a bonus, one that will put a smile on your face.
Living with the Land: Merry and Bright Nights is part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, which this year runs from November 29 through December 30. The festival is short this time, because Thanksgiving is the latest that it can be. FastPass+ is available for Living with the Land. You might want to grab one for late in the day, because Living with the Land will be merry and bright only after dark. It’s a great experience.
