The picture above is a screenshot from an article that was recommended to me by Google. I don’t care what was in the actual article, just from the title I knew that I couldn’t trust it. I have a really hard time believing that anyone can actually write about Disney and not know the difference between Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
I’ve been writing about Disney for years. I do my best to make sure that the information that I provide you with is accurate. If something is rumor, I’ll let you know. If it’s a thought or idea that is my own, I will let you know that as well. This is true whether I’m writing hereĀ or I’m helping out somewhere else. I don’t want to spread false information, and I don’t make rookie mistakes.
I know that people confuse Walt Disney World and Disneyland all the time. If my mom asks me how life is at Disneyland, I won’t correct her. Then again, my mom is not trying to be an expert on Disney. If she were planning to write about Disney, I would correct her.
I’ve worked hard to have some credibility in what I write. It’s about trust. I want you to be able to trust what you read if I wrote it. Unfortunately, some people are just after headlines and clicks. If someone does not know the difference between Walt Disney World and Disneyland, how am I supposed to believe anything in the article? How are you?
I’ve had people send me messages, asking for information. I do my best to answer those questions. In fact, that is kind of why I started Disney Over 50. My sister was planning a major trip, and she was finding some pretty bad information. I want to make sure that you never find bad information here. If you have any questions/suggestions/ideas, please feel free to contact me. You can email me, or message me through Facebook or Instagram.
And in case you’re wondering, the Magic Kingdom does now indeed have a guide for vegetarian and vegan dining. That’s the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, in Florida. At least I know where it is.
