Festivals are a big part of what Epcot is all about. There are four held each year. As I write this, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is going strong. It takes place each fall. At the end of the year it’s the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Walt Disney World has just released some information on the first two festivals that will be held in 2019.
The first festival each year is the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. It will return for its third year on January 18, and will run daily until February 25. New for 2019 is the expansion of the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. It will run seven days a week. The concerts are held in the America Gardens Theater, and are included with park admission.
The second bit of news pertains to the second festival of the year. The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will return on March 6, and it will run daily through June 3. That’s 90 days of beautiful flowers, topiaries, seminars, and the butterfly house. The Garden Rocks concert series is also expanding to seven days a week. Artists have not yet been announced.
All festivals are included with Epcot admission, but some extras cost an additional fee. The concerts are included with your admission, and usually take place three times each night. While there are similarities with each festival (special food offerings, seminars, festival merchandise, etc.), they are still unique. If you haven’t visited Epcot during a festival, I highly recommend all four of them.
