I recently learned of a mom who took her son, who is triggered by some loud noises, to see Santa at Disney Springs. The mom told the character attendant, since Santa was sharing plenty of loud “Ho, ho, hos”. The character attendant told Santa, who then quietly interacted with the boy. The mom said that it was the best Santa interaction that her son ever had! So here’s my ten second tip; tell the character attendant for any character if there is an unseen need that should be addressed. (It doesn’t have to be loud noises.) The character attendant will then pass that information on to the character, who will make it a magical experience.
