Last summer my family and I visited Niagara Falls during our whirlwind RV trip. It wasn’t my first time seeing the falls, and I hope it won’t be my last. If Niagara Falls is on your must do list, this coming spring you’ll have a chance to experience it in a whole new way. You’ll be able to fly over Niagara Falls virtually!

The brand new virtual reality attraction will open in 2025 on the US side of Niagara Falls. It will be located in the new Rainbow Air Tourism Center. You’ll have control of what you see and where you look as you start in a helicopter and then you parachute. Don’t worry, your feet will never leave the ground.

I was invited to see a preview of the new Niagara Falls VR experience during the IAAPA Expo in Orlando. It is going to be exhilarating! The attraction is from Frontgrid, which features “location-based flying”. Frontgrid has experiences across the globe. With the new Niagara Falls attraction they partnered with Rainbow Air Helicopter Tours.

The new VR attraction will allow you to experience Niagara Falls in a whole new way, without having to jump out of a helicopter. The video below will give you a peek at what to expect.
