From the 2022 IAAPA ExpoThe next few days I’ll be at the Orange County Convention Center. I’m covering the 2023 IAAPA Expo! I’ve been given press credentials, which is exciting! I put a lot of work into Disney Over 50, and it’s nice to be acknowledged.
IAAPA stands for International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. It is “The Global Association for the Attractions Industry”. IAAPA holds a few conventions each year around the globe, and the largest is the Orlando convention.
Some of the companies that will attend the IAAPA Expo are SeaWorld, Cedar Point, Dollywood, and ICON Park. There will be developers, vendors, and so much more. There are sure to be plenty of surprises.
I’ll do my best to add pertinent information throughout the week. I’ll also add plenty of pictures. Be sure to follow along on both Facebook and Instagram!
I attended the IAAPA Expo last year, it’s fascinating. There’s a little bit of everything, from carnival game prizes to roller coaster reveals. Much of the information is geared toward large theme parks, but there is also plenty for small, family run businesses.
