Seeds for Sustainability is a fun Earth Day, Arbor Day, and National Park Week promotion that is running through the end of April. Delaware North has partnered with Sierra Nevada and Impossible Foods. The goal is to bring more awareness to small changes that can make a big difference. Delaware North is the parent company of the Patina Restaurant Group, which runs several restaurants at Walt Disney World.

With Seeds of Sustainability, traditional coasters have been replaced with an eco-friendly version. There is a bonus with these coasters. Take them home, plant them, and watch wildflowers bloom! This sounds like a great opportunity to have an extra way to remember your vacation. You’ll smile each time you see the flowers! As a result of Seeds for Sustainability, 32,000 coasters will not end up in the trash, and 10 million pollinating seeds will be planted!

There are several restaurants participating in Seeds for Sustainability at Disney Springs. You can find the coasters at Morimoto Asia, The Edison, Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante, Enzo’s Hideaway, and Pizza Pointe.

Seeds for Sustainability coasters are distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. If there are any left over at the end of April, they will be donated to local organizations.

Delaware North has taken a stand to help the environment in many ways with GreenPath, which was introduced in the 1990s. You can learn more about GreenPath here.
