The all-day rain that we had yesterday (November 5) seems to have moved out of Central Florida, but it has left an impact. Today it is cold and windy by Florida standards. It might hit 60 today, and tomorrow will be only a few degrees warmer. It is also very windy at the moment. I know that this isn’t “cold” in most places (I grew up in New England) but many people expect the Sunshine State to be sunny with temperatures in the 80s all year long. This weekend is a good reminder to check the forecast before you leave home. After the sun goes down tonight the theme parks are going to be filled with chilly tourists who didn’t pack a light jacket. Don’t be one of them when you visit.
